Katie lights up our world. She is spunky and sassy with a smile and laugh that seriously makes us putty in her hands. She is always on the go but will take the time to give kisses if you ask nicely.
She will be 18 months on the 7th... YA for nursery!!!
She says only about 5 audible words even though she jabbers all the time.
He first words were Mama, Dad, ya, Jesus and just recently No. She loves her shoes and today I understood her when she said shoe. Oh and she also says her cousin Ella's name.
Adam got these boots on clearance yesterday for $4 dollars and Target, they are so cute they're KILLING me.
I really need to get a side shot of her because her belly is so BIG and her bum is also big, she walks around with both of them stuck out and it cracks us up especially when she is in a skirt.
She is learning some sign language for communication, just recently started scooting around on her wiggle car and still does not climb up our stairs. (I am okay with that!!)
Every time she comes into a room with a picture of Jesus in it she points to him and says his name over and over. I put a little Christus in her room since she seemed so attached to him and she points to him every time she wakes up, or walks in or out of the room. While I am changing her diaper she cranes her head so she can see him and I have to get him down for her to hold while I finish up. She kisses him goodnight and is still pointing at him as I lay her down for sleep. It is so astonishing to see how close she feels to him. As if they are best friends. I only wish there were somewhere I could buy a Jesus doll that she could sleep with or something. I love that girl!!

That is so precious! Thanks for sharing that. Children really can gain testimonies and knowledge of the gospel at a young age. They are sent to inspire us to be more like them. Katie is an adorable little girl. We are lucky to know her!
I'm looking forward to your more frequent posts. : )
Ashley, your kids are adorable...their personalities sounds as cute as their faces too. Glad you are enjoying being a mommy. Wish we lived closer!
She's so BIG! Where has the time gone? Adorable and totally squishable.
With six granddaughters, it's so, so hard to make that statement. I would, if she were my daughter. That being said, Ashley, your little one (Katie) is so dang adorable, I think we ought to have a beautiful child whoop-de-do, and dress all the little ones up in their finest. I would love to have a picture of all our grandkids in their Easter finery. I would love to blow it up, frame it, and hang it for all to see! How about it?
She is such a little sweetie. LOVE that big grin. Sassy girls are just the best I think!
She is the cutest.. No wonder Jake loves her so much!
