My Beautifull Briell

My niece Briell came up to Cedar City with us on Saturday. We painted our fingernails and went out to dinner where Adam joked with her that she would probably have to wash dishes in order to pay for her food because she didn't have any money. Then we went to game night at our friends house. We played played Balderdash and "Curses" (a very fun game involving cards with specific curses on them and if anyone catches you not acting out your "curse" you get a strike... 3 strikes and you're out.) It was fun having her there with us.
She slept on our couch that night and came to church with us the next day where we battled it out with our sunbeam class and colored a Star to show how we all have different talents but we are all children of our Heavenly Father.
We came home and ate a little bit and Briell and I watched "The Truman Show" which she had never seen before.
Reluctantly I drove her home around five on Sunday. I really had fun with her and learned a lot about her. The last time I hung out with her like that was before my mission. I used to have her over all the time. It was a blast and I am sure we will do it again.

Birthday Celebration

My Father-in-laws Birthday was on the 16th which was a Tuesday, so when we were down in St. George for the weekend those of us who could come went to dinner. Bill chose a Chinese Restaurant. We had a lot of fun and we were glad to celebrate Bill's Birthday together.

Who Started Smoking??

So Adam had a conference in St. George last Thursday and Friday so we headed down on Wednesday night. When we drove up to my parents house I immediately noticed a pan sitting outside on the driveway. Then my Dad came out to help us bring our luggage in and he smelled like smoke, not just smoke, but something similar to cigarette smoke. Walking into the house the smell of stale smoke slammed into my face. Pan outside plus Smelly Dad plus Stinky house equals... My Mom left a pan of beans on high and left for an hour and a half.
The result was days and days of stinky stale smokey smell. We cleaned and we cleaned and we tried to get it to smell better. We used candles and air fresheners and vacuumed and wiped the walls down with ammonia and dusted all the shelves with lemon scented wood polish. It was crazy. We worked our butts off and the result... ya it still stinks. Not quite as bad but it still stinks. It smells like it's a smoker's home and they tried to get rid of the smell by covering it up with air freshener.

My Cheerio Boy

Kevin loves to eat... I mean he LOVES it. He had a bottle at 11:45, he ate Mac and Cheese at 12:30, then Dad had some ice cream and Kevin was flipping out because he couldn't have any so I gave him cheerios instead. I mean you would think that he was so full he couldn't move, but no no he keeps saying "bring it on."

Our Family Outing

We went to Kolob Reservoir on Saturday afternoon with Adam's family to go canoeing. We got there and the wind decided to start blowing. It was actually a really nice day even though it was a little chilly. So I bundled Kevin up and sat him on the rocks. If you click on this picture you can see his funny little expression really well. It was fun to be with family.

Mischievouslittle Kevin has just recently discovered rocks. He picks them up, studies them, and then of course tries to put them in his mouth.
My mother-in-law Nancy
He was a happy little chunk.
Mariah and Jeremy (Adam's little sister and her husband) Adam and I tried to T-bone them in the canoes, because Mariah was so terrified of getting tipped over. The water was freezing, I definitely did NOT want to go in.
Bill and Nancy Endsley. I am so glad they came even though they had tons of other things to get done. We love hanging out with them.
We had to bring a whole load of stuff down to the shore so in order to get it back up we just threw it all into the pack and play (with Kevin still inside) and walked it back to our car.
Adam hates when I get the camera out because I always have to have 4-5 pictures taken to get the shot just right, so sometimes he tickles me to tryand get back at me. (which actually makes it worse because then we have to take yet another shot... maybe he will learn one of these days.)
