Our Family Outing

We went to Kolob Reservoir on Saturday afternoon with Adam's family to go canoeing. We got there and the wind decided to start blowing. It was actually a really nice day even though it was a little chilly. So I bundled Kevin up and sat him on the rocks. If you click on this picture you can see his funny little expression really well. It was fun to be with family.

Mischievouslittle Kevin has just recently discovered rocks. He picks them up, studies them, and then of course tries to put them in his mouth.
My mother-in-law Nancy
He was a happy little chunk.
Mariah and Jeremy (Adam's little sister and her husband) Adam and I tried to T-bone them in the canoes, because Mariah was so terrified of getting tipped over. The water was freezing, I definitely did NOT want to go in.
Bill and Nancy Endsley. I am so glad they came even though they had tons of other things to get done. We love hanging out with them.
We had to bring a whole load of stuff down to the shore so in order to get it back up we just threw it all into the pack and play (with Kevin still inside) and walked it back to our car.
Adam hates when I get the camera out because I always have to have 4-5 pictures taken to get the shot just right, so sometimes he tickles me to tryand get back at me. (which actually makes it worse because then we have to take yet another shot... maybe he will learn one of these days.)

The rock in the mouth thing won't be going away any time soon. I finally surrendered and Oliver happily sucks the dirt off all the rocks he likes. Yum!!!

That looks like a blast! How funny is Kevin there just happily sitting on the rocks like a big boy. I'm pretty sure that Adam will always think that it's funny to tickle you and ruin pictures, because Greg will always think it's funny to do hideous faces in pictures if I'm not paying close enough attention.

I love Kolob! We went camping there this summer. Kids seem to just love being outside eating rocks, rolling in the dirt, or whatever mess they can get themselves into!
