We Love To Read
So, lately I have been reading a lot. Mostly because as most of you already know the last twilight book came out... "Breaking Dawn". I realize that I absolutely love to read. I get something out of it that I can't get anywhere else. I crave a good book, even if it is just a fantasy book like the Twilight series. My clients often recommend good books to me and finally one of my clients brought one in for me to read. It is called "Yearning for the living God" by F. Enzio Busche. He is an emeritus of the seventy who grew up in Germany during WW2. He tells of his growing up years with the Hitler Youth and about the perception the natives in Germany had. It is so interesting to read his side of History if you will. I would definitely recommend it.
Anyway my point in all of this, is that I really want to instill in Kevin a love of reading. I love to read because it expands my knowledge and excites my imagination. So it excites me when I pull out a book and he B-lines it straight to the book. He LOVES books. Thank Goodness, and when I sit down to read to him his hands go all crazy and he gets super excited. Hence the picture. He is actually super tired in this picture so he doesn't look excited but he is.

Predicament
My Little Puppy
Kevin has this bunny which has become one of his favorite things in the world. If he is crying his head off, all you have to do is show him his bunny and he starts laughing. It's gotten to the point where he can't sleep without it. He always puts the bunny straight into his mouth like he is going to bite it's nose right off. He has also learned how to get anywhere he wants to go. This picture shows how he has found a way to combine his two favorite things... Mobility and Mr. Bunny... just put it in his mouth like a doggy.

It's A Wonderful Life
So I sit here tonight with my husband by my side with our proud little American hearts watching the Olympics.
I listen to him comment about the cheating Chinese gymnastics team because all their girls are NOT 16 even though their government issued passports say they are, and about the craziness of Phelps's ability to blow everyone else out of the water, and I think to myself... what a wonderful life. Let me explain...
We were married two years ago Tuesday. I still can't believe it. It seems like quite a while, yet I feel as if we have always been together. I really do love our life together. I am married to my best friend who talks to me about anything and everything, someone I can feel completely myself around. We sing in crazy opera voices of songs that stick in our head, we speak in crazy English just to try and fit in here in good ol' Cedar (we doesn't want to look like we is transplants) and we make each other laugh so hard sometimes with our teasing. I never would have imagined before this time that I could become so close to someone. It is the most wonderful feeling to come home to my favorite person, and the little guy we made together.
Like I said before... It's a wonderful life.

Grieving
So I really don't know why I am writing on my blog at a moment like this. But I guess in my heart I believe the more people who know then the more people will pray for my friends Andi and Curtis. Andi called me at around 2 yesterday afternoon. She thought she was in labor. She was. That sweet little baby came on Aug. 7th at 12:14 am. Addison May Thompson was 2lbs 3oz. and unfortunatly did not make it through delivery. Her parents are strong but they need prayers from anyone who will do so. I know all those who read this will say a prayer for them and I appreciate that so so much. For those of you who know Andi and Curtis, we will be having a graveside service Friday at 2:00 p.m. at the Cedar City Cemetary.
I love you all. Thank you.

Memory Bandwagon
I am jumping on the memory bandwagon post. I think it is fun to reminisce!
1. Leave a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.EVERYBODY PLAY! I want to see what memories are out there!!
