I woke up this morning and immediately thought of my Mother. It is her birthday today and I still can't believe she is turning 58. I have told some of my clients this and they tell me I must be lying. She does NOT look even close to that age and I must say I TOTALLY agree.
My Mother is one of the sweetest people I know. She is always helping/serving/caring for someone other than herself. Anyone who knows her will attest to that. Those who know her best will also tell you that she is humble, she has NO idea how great she is. So I am writing this post to let her know just how fabulous we all find her.
Mom, instead of the Birthday card you told me not to get for you, I am writing it here. You are one of my biggest heroes, you give me strength and unconditional love. I feel so blessed to be able to call you one of my best friends, and I LOVE that we can talk about most anything. You let me analyze life with you and come up with solutions. You inspire me by your dedication and determination... I mean you run marathons for heavens sake. You help me with all those little "Mother" things like cooking, raising my child, and being Dr. Mom. I really love you. Hopefully, my actions of love speak louder than my words for there is not way to adequately describe/express my exact feelings.
All I can say is thank you for being you, and I am glad that we have you in our lives. Yeah for your birthday!!! I hope it is super super special.

Birthday... WOW I'm 27!!!
My Birthday was fabulouso, I felt special and loved all day long.
Adam got me a sonicare toothbrush which I have been wanting for a really long time. It is kind of nice having my birthday so close to Mother's Day because then I get a practical gift and one fun gift. So I got a massage package for Mother's Day and a Toothbrush for my Birthday. I am glad I have such an insightful husband.
We had a pool party at my Mom's for my B-Day, I really wasn't expecting presents, but my beautiful sister in law Jaylin bought me one anyway. A cute purple shirts, which I REALLY love and some candy.
Kevin and Mommy...
our eyes are the same color of blue, don't you think!!??

VEGAS Baby
We partied it up in Vegas on Saturday with some of Adam's siblings and their spouses. Okay how much "partying" can you actually do in Vegas #1 when one of you is pregnant #2 When you don't drink, smoke, or gamble.
The answer is... IT'S ALWAYS A PARTY WITH THESE GUYS!!! Well at least we had fun.
We borrowed my Dad's Yukon (thanks again Dad) and we packed all six of us in and a quick hour and a half later we were there.
In the back you can see Mariah (Adam's youngest sister) with her husband Jeremy, In the front is Adam's brother Logan and his wife Vicki.
Our "designated" driver Adam. He kept us safe, except for the one time he tried to run over a little car, but whatever.
Here's the gang again.

Don't Mind If I BRAG
I have the most wonderful husband in the whole wide world. He is always doing nice things for me. I really do wonder how he can love me so much when I am just little ol' me. He treats me so well that when Mother's Day came along it felt almost like any other day because of how much respect and love he always gives me. There is absolutely no way I could have married someone better than Adam.
And that's not it...
As a Father he excels. This man loves being a Dad and he teaches and plays and loves our little Kevin. My boys will grow up knowing how to treat a women and how to be strong Priesthood holders because of their Dad. My girls (if I have any) will grow up respecting themselves and wanting to marry someone who will treat them like their Dad treats me.
I really do love Adam and I am looking forward to many more years of adventure and happiness. I don't expect life to go easy or smoothly all the time, but I sure do have a lot to be grateful for. Hopefully I can keep that perspective through the other hardships we will face.

Nike Boy
This post is for our friend Josh. When we bought this shirt we immediately thought of Uncle Josh and his Nike addiction, plus this is totally something he would say.
"I don't like to Play, I like to WIN".
Josh and his wife Megan just found out they are having a boy in September. I'm pretty sure he will be completely decked out in Nike wear most of the time. Congrats guys.
