**Click on the picture to make it bigger to see her teeth**
We had a weight check for Katie Bugs yesterday. She was a little underweight last time we went to the doctor due to exclusive breastfeeding and my eating REALLY well (as in no fats or sugars to fatten up my milk) so the Dr. had me give her lots of solids as well as nursing and VIOLA she is up to the 18th percentile (she was in the 5th). Anyway, her weight is now 14.8 lbs and she kind of let me get a shot of her cute little teeth. They are coming in strong and she sure makes funny faces as she is trying to get used to them.
ENJOY!!

He's growing up
The last few days have been quite interesting for me. Each day comes and I feel so blessed to have my little Kevin and Katie. Lately I have felt so strongly that my little Kevin is not so little anymore. It just amazes me that he hasn't worn diapers for 2 weeks now. He tells me when he needs to go potty and while sometimes nothing comes of it, he is old enough to recognize the urge to go to the bathroom. It hits me each time he has a success that he is growing up before my very eyes. The last few days his speech has been so clear and precise as he amazes me with these 5-7 word sentences. I love how this little man adores his Dad and sister. He says his own prayers now and takes care of Katie by getting her toys and giving her his pink bunny to play with. When Dad walks in from work he runs to the door and says "My Daddy's home" He is constantly saying Thank you and Your Welcome. He is so polite and sweet, yet completely has his own opinion. Lately he playfully contradicts whatever we say just because he has learned that he can. He is smart enough to recognize that the ABC song and Twinkle Twinkle little star are the same tune (he starts out singing one and ends singing the other... so cute). When I show him attention he thrives, when I am too busy with other things it affects him. The boy is so smart and I could never have imagined the amount of love I was capable of for this kid. I am excited for right now and love living in the moment with him while looking forward to his future. Motherhood is a miracle.

Potty Time
We are attempting to potty train Kevin. Sometimes I think it is going SO well, and other times I am so ready to just throw him in a diaper. He is so cute though in those little underwear and he stays dry a lot longer than he did the first time I tried this. I will NOT be quitting until he has mastered this challenge even if it kills me. This boy is ready to do this, I just know it.
So if you have any advice, BRING IT ON!!!

Toddler Conversation
.jpg)
This is a conversation Kevin had Thursday with his favorite cousin Anthony.
Anthony: "I be da Dad and you An-tony"
Kevin: "No, you Antony"
Anthony: "No Kevin, I'n da Dad and You An-tony"
Kevin: "No, You Antony"
Anthony: "No, Kevin you Antony, I be da Dad"
Kevin" "No YOU Antony, I'n Kevin"
As you can tell this conversation wasn't the most productive one. The best part is that they were both perfectly happy even though neither one understood the other. Oh the joys of Toddlers trying to communicate.

Katie is 6 months old

Katie Bug is 6 months old today!!! I can't believe how fast time seems to fly, but I am so in LOVE with her at this stage.
What Katie is up to at this stage of her little life...
She gets anywhere she wants to just by rolling and shifting her body from side to side.
She is LAUGHING all the time, I mean I thought Kevin was a happy baby, but this girl is always smiling (except of course when Mom is not in the room)
She is a major Mamas girl, but she is smitten with Daddy and fascinated by Kevin.
Her smile is contagious
She can sit up for about 3 seconds (she could do it, but is just so dang chill that she doesn't really give it a try)
She is really good with her hands and we often call her Miss Grabby Grabberson
She HATES rice cereal, in fact she pretty much gags on it throughout the whole process, but the Dr. said I have to give it to her 3 times a day because she is only in the 5th percentile (don't freak out... he says that a lot of breastfed babies do this)
She coos and does this thing with her mouth where she kind of blows the air out over and over.
And finally she is our little thumb sucking side sleeper and she sleeps all night.
I seriously can't get enough of her.

Mommy... be happy!!!
I lost something important yesterday, and absolutely had to have it or I would have been out $30 and 2 hours of my time. I needed it pronto and could NOT for the LIFE of me find it. I was so so so frustrated, and when I get frustrated I tend to growl. I told Kevin, who was chowing on a cookie, that Mommy was not happy. He looked up at me, OBVIOUSLY very happy with his chocolate covered face, and said "Mommy not happy" and I replyed "No Mommy is NOT happy". He scrunched his little face up and said "Mommy be happy, cuz I want you be happy" I must admit I smiled a bit even admist my personal dilema.
He makes me happy, and no, I didn't ever find what I was looking for, but yes, I figured something else out and it all turned out it in the end and I am HAPPY.
Going to St. George tomorrow, should be exciting!!!

Eye Candy
I have not posted pictures of the kids much, and I have received a few complaints, so here are some cute little shots of the kids to satisfy.
Yes it is warm enough for my child to be in his swimsuit... I like it now, but oh man will I be dying in the summer.
St. Patricks Day attire. Grandma and Grandpa Endsley sent us this cute little polka dotted dress and when I went to go find something green for bugs to wear it was PERFECT. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Endsley.
When we got out of the car the other night the moon was shining a bit and Kevin looked up and said "what's that" we told him that it was the moon. He then said "moom" and then said "broken" "moom broken". I guess to a 2 year old when the moon is just a sliver, it would look broken. This kid cracks me up. By the way the picture above with him holding Katie in their green outfits was a bribe picture. The first time I tried to take one, Katie ended up spitting all over Kevin's arm and then he didn't want to hold her anymore. I told him if he held her I would give him gum (his new favorite thing). As soon as I snapped two shots of them, he ran off to get his reward.
